The company regularly commissions external and independent experts to review and confirm the implementation status of these standards. Almost all LANXESS sites are certified to international standards and integrated in a global matrix certificate. Sites subsequently integrated into the group through acquisitions are also adapted to meet LANXESS’s standards.

Health, safety, environmental protection and quality
HSEQ management is an important part of LANXESS’s integrated management system. HSEQ stands for health, safety, environmental protection and quality. Since its foundation, the specialty chemicals group has geared its HSEQ management system towards achieving uniform standards and bases of assessment for all LANXESS sites globally. For this purpose, the requisite KPIs are recorded electronically worldwide, thus enabling LANXESS to systematically determine the required activities and goals for each business unit/site and to develop them sustainably in the future.
