The corporate culture of LANXESS is based on the integrity of all employees, and the entire global workforce is obliged to follow the “Code for legal compliance and corporate responsibility”.  The company introduced this corporate guideline to ensure its workforce complies with the law and a strict code of ethics. In addition to covering how employees should act toward each other, the guideline also sets out requirements for their dealings with competitors, safety and the environment.


LANXESS has set up an internal Compliance Committee to ensure that these standards can be implemented in day-to-day working life. Representatives from a range of specialist backgrounds handle referrals concerning compliance violations in strict confidentiality. Their objective is to counter any illegal or unethical conduct in the company at an early stage or introduce suitable measures to prevent improprieties altogether.
