Since 1970 Mr. Walthie worked in several executive positions within the Dow Chemical group. He was appointed from 1995 to 2007 as Global Business President Hydrocarbons & Energy. He lead the whole business division and its joint ventures globally in a business size of 30 billion US$ sales per year including purchasing, manufacturing, sales & marketing, financial reporting, R&D, legal and logistics.
