Providing pure drinking water is a major problem in many countries. LANXESS makes innovative products that help solving this problem. Lewatit® and Bayoxide® for instance get rid of substances that are polluting the water and thus make it pure and edible. On top of that, seals for water pipes made from LANXESS rubber make sure that not a single drop of the valuable resource is wasted on its way to the consumer. Thus 2010 will be the first global Water Year for LANXESS.
