LANXESS Rubber Technical Center at Wagle Estate in Thane was started way back in the year 1968 & has significantly grown to embark its importance in the rubber industry from Indian subcontinent. LANXESS rubber technical center is equipped with the most contemporary & sophisticated rubber processing equipments so that factory condition can be simulated in the laboratory.

In 2004 Latex Laboratory was relocated in Thane from Dormagen Germany, in order to have close proximity to Latex customers. 85 % of global Latex Industry are in ASEAN & ISC region.

LANXESS Rubber technical center gives valuable technical support to rubber chemicals business in tires, industrial products as well as Latex sector from ISC & APAC. Today it is playing a very important role in promoting Rubber Chemicals (RUC) specialties not only in rubber industry but also in non rubber industry.

Technicians are always updated as there is an informative library through which they have access to newest publications and most recent books about rubber technologies besides their practical experience.

Technical center has very qualified & experienced technicians who are trained in Leverkusen, Germany & have access to LANXESS AG & other technical center in the world for the latest information / developments & trends in the rubber technology.

LANXESS technical center regularly holds technical training courses as well as seminars, participating domestic and international conferences & presenting technical papers, sharing the updated information or knowledge on LANXESS products & over all rubber technology with the customers.
