“Educate to Grow” – this LANXESS initiative in Argentina has met with an enthusiastic response from staff. More than 200 have started a paper recycling project, the proceeds from which are used to support schools and charities working in education. In addition to providing financial support, staff are thus also helping people help themselves by ensuring they are given the necessary basic project management know-how to continue even without further donations. More than 500 children have already benefited from the “Educate to Grow” program.

Engendering an interest in the chemical profession
With its second major education project in Argentina, LANXESS is encouraging the next generation of scientists. “ProQuimia” offers children and young people an insight into the chemical industry and is intended to engender interest in this exciting profession. In cooperation with schools and universities, LANXESS is organizing workshops that link the basic concepts of chemistry to topical issues.
