The LANXESS subsidiary Rhein Chemie Qingdao Ltd. is a “Clean Production Company” – this is the result of the Clean Production Audit (CPA) carried out by the Qingdao Economy Trading Committee, the Municipal Environment Protection Bureau of Qingdao and the Qingdao Committee of Developing and Reforming. The CPA is a project decreed by the government with the aim of controlling and reducing the energy consumption of companies.

“Rhein Chemie Qingdao is an international company with world leading technology. The company passed the CPA successfully, which means the company’s daily operations correspond to the state Clean Production Regulations.” said Sha Aiping, Section Chief of Qingdao Municipal Environment Protection Bureau.
